And now it's time for our new Sunday feature "A Few Moments With Dead Animal Celebrities".

Today let's meet a true American icon! MGM's Leo the Lion..

Here's your host: Pepper The Cat

Pepper: Hello Leo and welcome to our new feature.

Leo: Hi Pepper. Even though you woke me up from my nap it's nice to be here.

P: Sorry old sot. So Leo, tell us a little about your life and the abuse you recieved at the hands of your oppressors.

L: Well you may know I was... and still am actually... the star of more MGM movies than anyone because I'm literally in every film they made.

P: Yeah, and in between shoots tell us about the abuse.

L: Well Pepper I didn't have to shoot a scene for every film. Over the course of my life I think they filmed me about ten times.

P: And the rest of the time they had you chained up like a monster to be abused at the hands of the man!

L: No not really. I was sort of thier good luck charm and icon. I had luxury digs out there in Culver City and when kings and queens and other celebrities visited they all came to see me.

P: And the beatings and abuse?

L: Well Pepper I was very well cared for and treated like a king myself. I was very happy.

P: BUGGER OFF YOU... UNCLE TOM CAT! YOU WERE BRAINWASHED. YOU SOLD OUT TO THE MAN. DIDN'T YOU WANT TO GO BACK TO THE JUNGLE?

L: No. I was very well fed and waited on hand and foot Pepper. I was King of the Jungle in a luxury suite.

P: PISS OFF AND GET OUT. THAT'S IT TURN 'IM OFF.

L: Would you like me to do my trademark roar?

P: HELL NO! Where's me nip?
