STNews Update

Here is Connie Chung.

CC: Good morning. President Bush has shocked his conservative base and been roundly critzized by the left for nominating his personal lawyer to be a Supreme Court Judge.
On Monday President Bush nominated Harriet Miers to replace Sandra Day O'Connor on the Supreme Court, Ms. Miers has never been a judge and has no experience what so ever to qualify her to serve on the highest court in the land. The President said he made a long exhausitive search before picking Miers, who is his White House counsel, in the White House, a few feet from him, everyday. Also under consideration were the White House chef, former FEMA head Michael "Brownie" Brown, a Secret Service agent named "Dogboy", Laura Bush, his mother Barbara, and Katie Couric.
The President of The United States, lowering the bar everyday, 24-7.
