Mike and Michael

One of them won and one of them lost but according to the news reports I've read the past few days, both are up the financial creek. Michael Jackson, leaving the courthouse a free man, and Mike Tyson, leaving the boxing ring (in a manner of speaking) with his head between the ropes, are both as good as bankrupt, having run through hundreds of millions, and with little prospect of regaining their former earning powers.

The solution is so obvious I'm sure it has already been bandied about. Yes, you're ahead of me. How much would people shell out to watch Jackson and Tyson face off in the squared circle? Mike vs Michael. Talk about a thriller.

You say it'd be a mismatch? Perhaps, but then Mike's handlers still haven't figured out exactly who he can actually beat these days and maybe Michael can float like a butterfly and sting like...well...a gnat or something. With just one boxing glove, naturally. Or maybe Mike will prefer to keep his distance. At any rate, we know Michael isn't afraid of having his face rearranged.

I can see it now. Michael moonwalks away from Mike's flailing fists for five rounds. When he starts singing "Beat It" it's just too much. An enraged and frustrated Mike lunges forward and chomps down on Michael's nose...which is when things really get ugly.

Do you think Michael could convince Liz Taylor to come out of retirement to be the ring card girl?
