The ferrets are: playing in their very own room

Weather: overcast

Reading: nothing. All the books are packed.

Listening to in the car: country music, for the pathos

I love this house. There is room for us and all of our critters and most of our stuff. There would be room for all of our stuff except there's not room for it in our lives. It's so much nier not to be burdened down with a ot of junk. Just have to decide which stuff to keep, then let the rest go. The garage can be a halfway house for things we "might need later." I bet that's how people end up with garages full of crap, though.

We could pretty much stop unpacking right now and survive just fine except for tripping over boxes. We have located the bed, the blankets, the dishes and the food. Nothing else is really necessary. Oh, and gregg hooked up the DSL, so we're really ready to roll. I should be content, but I won't be till this stuff is all put away in one way or another.

I really like having my own washer and dryer again. It was such a pain in the butt going down stairs to get to a laundry room that was locked and maybe in use and put quarters into machines that were too little and didn't have enough options. If a shirt I wanted to wear was wrinkled I had to forget about wearing it, or go through all that bother or *horrors!* iron it. Forget that.

The ferrets have their own room here. They like it. They have theiur tunnels and toys and their people visiti them there. THe house is not ferret-proof yet so in there thye shall stay. Maybe, well. Well maybe they weill stay in there most of the time from here on out. They are not really civilized animals in one particlar way and I don't want stains and smells from their errors al over the place. I like to go and play with them where the turf is theirs and they can run freely and not have to worry about anything. Need to get a good door for them so that they can see out and we can see in and it would be good to put down vinyl instaed of carpet since it's easier to clean.

Maui likes it here. She still lies right in the path, though. I guess it's a dog thing.

My car has a flat tire. Gregg's going to get air in it for me this afternoon and then I'll get it fixed tomorrow. There is a lot of new construction here and I think I ran over a nail when I was getting parked yesterday. I Parked on the street to be out of the way of the movers.

The movers were wonderful. WOrth every penny and then some. THey did the whole job in just 5.25. hours in spite of us helping.

Man, my back is sore. Gregg's got a fatigue headache going. I am restless. There is so much to do and I don't know what to do next. So, I sit here and write this entry. I am avoiding work. It's working nicely. I am tired of looking at the kitchen. I was weoring on the bathrooms for awhile, but need a couple of small baskets to help organize and I'm not sure where tey are. I may just buy more because. But then I'd find the old ones and then I'd have too many. I could throw some away or stick them in the charity collection. They come around even out here in the boonies. I will have a lot of stuff for them this next time.

I see a ot of Gregg's stuff I'd like to get rid of. He sees a lot of my stuff he'd like to get rid of. You see how it is.

Junk. ALl over the place. I like how our desks look right now, with only computer equipment on them. Maybe. Maybe I could refrain from collecting any new stuff.

Well, I'll figure it out. I am taking something for my ADD now, so that should help.

Maybe. Probably.
