Never underestimate the power of your imagination. I tend to harp a bit on my clients using their imaginations when in the process of creating anything new for themselves. Today, one fellow called to tell me that a script he had written was getting a lot of people excited at ICM, one of LA's largest talent agencies. He called to say that he had been meditating the past fews days on creating just such a stir, adding that he was now definately a believer in the power of visualization. Of course, one such win could be considered coincidental or beginner's luck. But I've been using my imagination as a creative tool for years, and I have no doubt as to its power. Just try it. See if you can hold on to a vision of something you're interested in creating. Hold it in your mind's eye and in your heart. If doubts pop up, gently let them go and remind yourself that you're in the middle of a new experiment. See if you can hold your vision for a few minutes everyday for 60 to 90 days before you decide whether or not there is anything to this imagination stuff. My guess is that you'll turn yourself into a believer, too. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
