Glorious Summer Weekend

Had a glorious, wonderful, amazing, connected, loving, sweet and amazing day with Tim yesterday. We did our usual walk down to the farmer's market, lunch at the Lakeshore, some shopping. But then we went home and spent the afternoon snuggling and giggling and frolicking. It felt like new love again, it was so intense. Bliss.

Today was nice as well. I managed to sleep until 11:30, which I sorely needed (I haven't been sleeping well lately). I straightened up the house a bit, Tim did some laundry, and then we flipped a coin to decide whether we should go swimming or go see Pirates of the Carribean (it was a hot day and both are good on hot days). Swimming won the toss, but we ended up going to see Pirates anyway. A very good summer flick, even if it's the middle book of a series and thus does not really tie up any plot threads. I just loved Davey Jones and his men! If you go, be sure to stay through the credits for the bit at the end.

I even managed to type in some of my novel this weekend, something I keep forgetting to do. I'm trying to convince myself I can type it in (I've got about 11,000 words handwritten to go) and revise it by WorldCon, but that's pushing it. Still, it'd be good to have a goal in mind.

Speaking of cons, I'll be at ComicCon for, like, a day this week for work. I'm flying down Wednesday for Preview Night, and will be around in the morning/ early afternoon on Thursday as well. I'm sure most of you who are going will be there over the weekend, but I figured I'd throw it out there and see if anyone will be around that early.

So, that's what's been going on in my life, more or less.
