lost my favorite barrette and bought 3 cheap ones as replacements, good qulity but ugly colors!

I have a box of colorful nail paint/oil that a friend gave me as Xmas gift. Since I dont paint my finger nails so I decide to paint my ugly-colored barrettes!

Wow! I am impressed! what a magic, now these 3 barrettes look worth $$$$$. I painted them in Red, Burgundy and Ivory with floral patterns! but....they smell bad! Geeee, do all the nail paint semll this bad? I have to put the barrettes outside and let them dry up!
