2014-09-27 8:45 PM the change of paypal return policy Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (0) Paypal's 180 day return policy will go into effect in the US on Nov 18th, 2014. buyer has 180 day window to decide if he/she wants to return the item. and the wrost, Paypal will not refund Sellers Paypal Transaction Fees.
I have pretty bad feelings about this, and here comes... 2 eMails from eBay, a Buyer has requested eBay to reveal my phone number to her, as she wants to return a doll she purchased from me through eBay more than 2 weeks ago. there is nothing wrong this doll, only she thinks the doll does not fit the diorama she made as she thought it would be. The doll is only $7.99, the energy she puts in is extreme. I can refuse the return, as my item was as described, its buyer who changed her mind. but I dont have the energy to go through ebay process or call eBay customer service, I probably lose more money if I spend time calling. eBay policy states "buyer pays return shipping", then she'd only get back less than $5.00 if she ship back with tracking number. The worst part, this buyer stated in her eMail, she wanted to return this doll but bid on my other doll!! she probably thinks she is doing me a favor. No, NO, NO, pleast do NOT bid. I am not running business on eBay, I am only selling some extra dolls I am no longer in need. It doesnt bother me if the dolls dont sell, it upsets me ifI have to go into troubles to accept returns, give refunds.... her return makes me lose $3.66, (shipping & eBay fee). if the doll's value is higher, lets say, its $100, then, I'd lose more than $14. its costly. I wish this buyer will never buy from me again until I open a new big business and can afford to pay all the fees like Walmart does... This buyer isnt alone. some people are just like this, basically, they are borrowing your dolls to play, since they dont pay ebay 10% and paypal 3%, they feel free to return it and go on to "borrow" new dolls...
