Now that spring is upon us and the weather is warming here in Big D, alot of the women in my office are wearing those mid-calf length pants.

I'll have to admit that I resisted buying into this craze last year, thinking it would only last one season and besides that, I'm not really dictated by the fashion gods anyway.

Being a tall gal (5'7"), many times in my past I've purchased jeans and other long pants, only to have them shrink with each washing and drying and sooner or later they'd end up as "floods". Disgusted, I'd throw them in a bag and contribute them to Goodwill! They'd be just perfect for some 5'4" body!

Now, however, I'm thinking I should have just held onto them and I'd be fashionable. But to be honest, they still just look like "floods" to me, so I'm not sure I'd be able to get over that!
