The Latin names of some species were nonsensically changed, we believe by the accidental use of a spell-checker, on yesterday's front page graphic, accompanying our report entitled An unnatural disaster. The dunnock or prunella modularis became pronely modularise; The Spanish imperial eagle, aquila adalberti, turned into alleyway adalberti; the golden toad was buff - instead of bufo - periglenes ; and the viola tree should have been the virola tree with its Latin name of virola (not viola) sebifera.
