WASAGA BEACH -- A supposed human baby's hand found on the shores of this popular Georgian Bay beach community was actually a doll's hand, provincial police said yesterday. The tiny hand was found Tuesday by a mother and her son as they walked along Wasaga Beach. The "remains" were sent to the chief coroner's office in Toronto for expert examination.
OPP Const. Tim Garland said the find had to be taken seriously until the origins of the hand could be established.
