Snow!

What was light and fluffy and mostly harmless flurries this morning has turned into a minor blizzard. The sky has filled with big, wet flakes of white powder, which will probably add another half foot on the ground by the time all is said and done. I swept about six inches off the top of my car at around noon, and I'm almost positive that it has been entirely replaced, though I'm afraid to go back out and look. Every once in a while, a tree will become so heavy with snow that its branches will tip forward and dump a plume of the stuff on the ground, producing an evanvescent cloud which soon settles. Everything is covered in pure white, a serene scene, like the entire world is holding its breath.

I like snow.

I probably won't be going into work tomorrow either.
