Scarlet's Walk on Hallowe'en

Listening to Scarlet's Walk, the new album by Tori Amos, and really enjoying it so far. She wrote the songs after 9/11/01, on a gigantic road trip across America; the CD booklet contains a map which charts the trip and shows which songs were written where. At 74 minutes, it takes up the entire CD, the length of a classical symphony.

Found out this morning that Janet has decided to go for her M.A. in Library Sciences, which would mean coming back over to the US to study. Yay! Even if she goes to school in California, it's closer than Singapore.

It's a beautiful day here today. Temperature in the low 50s, bright sunshine, crisp breeze. This is my kind of Autumn weather. I love it.

Happy Hallowe'en everybody.
