If any of you out there who are reading this is a Neil Gaiman fan, listen up. In case no one's been paying attention, The Neil Gaiman Reader (which will be the home for my "The Old Switcheroo") is a book of essays and criticism being put together by Darrell Schweitzer, otherwise known as the editor of Weird Tales, one of the longest running fiction magazines out there. As of right now, the contents for the Reader are still rather thin, and he has said that he'll have to resort to padding the book with interviews if he doesn't get enough entries.

So you, yes you there, sitting in the back, you have an incredible opportunity for publication. If you have an essay or paper you have written or would like to write about any aspect of Gaiman's fiction or career, now's your chance. Schweitzer is only paying a penny per word, but the exposure is the main draw. This will be an honest-to-god paper book that you'll be able to find in an honest-to-god bookstore, and your name will be associated with Neil Gaiman's. I mean, how can you pass up an opportunity like that?

Now get writing.
