Woke up this morning to find this week's What's New from Green Man Review in my inbox, and a really fantastic surprise. My review of China Mieville's The Tain is the featured review this week! Woo! My take on Perdido Street Station is now up too. Wow. Looks like I've become the official Mieville reviewer at GMR. Kewl.

Got together with Jamie last night for a dinner of Subway, a pint at Ri-Ra, and a movie of 8 Mile at the $1.50 theatre. The movie was excellent, and really showcased Eminem's acting talents. This definitely won't be his last film.

Janet gets home from Hong Kong later today, and I can't wait to call her tonight. She's been gone for the past five days, and I've missed her more than usual. I need my Janet fix.
