Things have become increasingly busy over the last few weeks, as the semester winds down, and the deadlines approach. There just isn't enough time in the day, ya know?

This afternoon, Janet and I will be driving up with my parents to New York to have Thanksgiving with my sister in Brooklyn. This will be the first time that we aren't having turkey day at my parents' house, and Kristin is taking her responsibilities very seriously. She even provided a menu.

Tonight we'll stop somewhere in Delaware, and drive the rest of the way tomorrow. Though we'll be spending a lot of time with the fam, Janet and I are also taking up some work. I'm bringing the moleskine to do a story rewrite for class, as well as the SCS manuscripts to do any minor editing, and Janet is bringing up two paintings that need to be finished soon. Unfortunately, we just can't afford to take five days off and not do any work.

So y'all have a nice holiday. Eat a lot of food, reconnect with your relatives, and sleep the rest of the day in a tryptophan-induced coma.
