You know, sometimes the best vacations are the ones where you do nothing at all. I've had the pleasure of this week off and other than writing one non-fiction piece (which sold the same day to Neverary Magazine) I've sat on my butt and relaxed.

This is the first time in years that I've have a vacation where I wasn't workshopping or under a deadline or some damned thing that turned my supposed rest into work.

And tomorrow, myself, my wife and about eighteen other friends are heading out for a weekend of camping.

Sigh. Life is really friggin' good.
