Wednesday is usually a bad writing day.

Sometimes I am WAH on Wednesday, but today I had to work in San Francisco. The workday was busy enough, wrapping up September. Metrics.

The post-Giants game traffic made it a horrid commute home to Tracy (about 68 miles).

I take my son to Cub Scouts on Wednesday nights, and tonight's meeting was on. Got home at 6:30pm, wolfed down a turkey burger, and went to the meeting.

Home by 8:30pm. Got Benjamin ready for bed, then Mary made me watch West Wing with her.

Up to the office at 10pm, after saying good night to wife (Mary). Sent out some Cub Scout Emails and such. Posted to the Novel Dare board, and here I am. Tired and up past my bedtime.

My awful first day word count for the October Novel Dare is a big ZERO!!!

I'll make up for it tomorrow. Yes, I could be writing now, but I'm tired, and tomorrow is another ugly commute day.

Instead, I am writing this entry and "wacthing" the RedSox-A's game on GAMEDAY, which is really cool. The A's are coming up in the bottom of the 11th with the score still tied.

October Dare total = 0
Novel Total = 5888

READING: Kathleen Taylor, FOREIGN BODY
"WATCHING:" The A's game, still tied, top of 12th.
