The last two months have been crazy. Doesn't that sound familiar? I think my last few blog entries bgean just like that. It's crazy, it's still crazy, it only gets crazier.

Enough said about that.

Last Thursday, Ben performed in his first starring role in his school's production of Macbeth. He shined. He's a born performer. And I'm not just saying that. He delivered his lines with clarity and perfection. He moved with the confidence of an actor who's become his character. Next year, he's trying out for the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz.

A prouder Dad, I could not be.

Tonight was the first round game in Ben's Baseball tournament. His team, the Rangers, beat the A's by a score of 10-3. Good news, except for the fact that we have to play the Braves (probably the best team in the 11-12 league) on May 29.

The high spot of the night was my son smacking a grounder down the first base line which hit the fence. Ben was held up at third base, but drove in three runs.

A prouder Dad, I could not be.

Just a summary of my life. Mary was gone for a month visiting her Father, and then driving her Father back here to live with us. During this time, I worked my job from home, but ran the house, got Ben to all his events, and got the house ready for our new housemate.

Now, he's here, and all is working out just swimmingly. But it's an adjustment, and life is still crazy nuts. Those rare few hours, before bed, I'm too tired to even read, let alone write, and I just veg or watch TV.

More later ...
