The Cowboys lost on Sunday in one of two stunning upsets. I know my friend, Jeffrey, is happy because he hates the Cowboys. And the Packers have to be happy because now they will host the Giants instead of traveling to the Big D.

There's a Dad at the Martial Arts school who watches his daughter train who proudly wears his Cowboys jacket. He wasn't there last night.

I watched the highlights Sunday night. Terrell Owens came on, wearing his shades, and I paused, wondering what he'd say this time. I looked close. Closer. Is his lip quivering? Hang on here ...

I was not prepared for what came next.
"This is not about Tony. You guys can point the finger at him, you can talk about the vacation, and if you do that, it's really unfair," Owens said, his voice choked with emotion. "It's really unfair. That's my teammate. That's my quarterback. You guys do that, it's not fair. We lost as a team. We lost as a team, man."
I couldn't find a photo to post.

All I can say is that I'm surprised. I have to give the guy some kudos for this one. He showed class.

I almost felt bad about the Cowboys losing. I am not a Cowboy fan, but I like Tony Romo, and felt it would be good if he got his team to Super Bowl XLII to make up for the "ten yards from glory" trip last year. I felt bad then.

I'll be cheering for Favre and the Pack this weekend. For the AFC game, I will wear my Chargers jersey, just because they're the underdog going up against the ipso-facto winner, and because my sister lives in San Diego. But I won't be crushed if the Patriots win.
