The only reason I haven't put up comments on the SuperBowl is that I haven't had the time.

Yes, I did watch the game. Yes, I enjoyed the game. It was a great game.

No, I wasn't with New England. This was one of those times I had the luxury of being happy with whatever result happened. If the Patriots won, perfect season, yay! If the upstart Giants knock off the Patriots, wow, and double yay!

Much more exciting to see a #5 seed knock off a 18-0 team that EVERYONE expected to win. Still, Brady is from my (de-facto) hometown of San Mateo, but I don't care much for his anti-American super model.

Plus, I really like the Manning brothers. I enjoyed seeing Peyton in his luxury box, giving high-fives with his Mom after that final catch by Buress.

We got to see a good game, at least by my standards. Not a lot of scoring, but a good defensive contest. The Patriots had chances to win, but the Giants were not going to go down easy. They shut Tom Brady down from the get-go, and that's something the Patriots weren't used to. It's a testament to why it so tough in the NFL. There's always going to be that one team who's going to shut down all your weapons and just outright beat you. Or at least make you work damn hard for it.

I really enjoyed the halftime show.
