I can't believe it's already been 6 years and at the same time I can't believe it's only been 6 years.

We celebrated our 6th anniversary a day early, on Saturday, because we were going trick-or-treating on Halloween. I dropped Marc off with his Grandma and Papa and then we went to dinner at our favorite restaurant. If you've never been to the Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney, you're seriously missing out. It's owned by Ralph Brennan who has restaurants in New Orleans.

We sat out in the courtyard patio because that's where our favorite server, Bruce was working. It turned out to be the perfect place because a jazz band was playing on the stage in the dinning room next to the patio and we could hear them, but it wasn't too loud like it would have been had we been in that dinning room. Bruce brought us champagne and shrimp remoulade as a lagniappe ("a little something for free"). I ordered the Seafood Fra Diablo which was amazing. It was pasta with crushed red pepper sauce, crawfish meat, crab meat, and shrimp. For desert we got this dark chocolate/Grand Marnier mousse cake thing. Marcelo ordered Port with it and Bruce brought me a Frambois because he said you can't have the mousse without it. :) And boy was he right! I thought I was in heaven. Of course, after not having a drop of alcohol for over 2 years, my tolerance has gone to zero and I was feeling just a little light headed by the time we left. All in all, a wonderful evening.
