When my grandmother passed away last weekend, I wanted to write something about her. After spending the week with my family, now I know that all I really know about her is that I never really knew her. So many things no one ever talks about come out after someone dies. I knew she had a hard life, but now I find myself mourning the tragedies of her life as well as her death.

What I do know is she loved her family very much and we loved her back.
