Marc has become an expert at opening doors. It's not like we have those easy door handles that even pets can learn to open. The only door we really worry about is the downstairs bathroom. It's the only door he usually has access to and he's a notorious toilet diver. So last week Marcelo bought some of these door knob covers:



It took him about 5 tries to figure out how to get around them. He sticks his finger through the hole on the end to grip the knob. It seriously reminded me of the raptors in Jurassic Park attacking the electric fence looking for weaknesses. I'd hear "thwack! thwack! thwack!" then silence as he examined it. Then he'd walk away to think about it. He tried again in the next day or two. The first few times he got in I just figured I hadn't pulled the door closed enough to latch, but then we caught him redhanded. He's just too damn smart for our own good...
