Mine! Mine! Mine!

This weekend we watched Finding Nemo (in an attempt to NOT watch Dumbo... again). If you've ever seen it, I'm sure you remember the seagulls who, instead of sounding like regular birds, say "Mine! Mine! Mine!". We've been trying our hardest to keep Marc from this phase. And it's worked for the most part, so far. He does it just enough so I don't worry that he'll grow up to be a total push over, but isn't crazy about it either. But this weekend, Marcelo bought him some of those little capsules that when you put them in hot water disolve into a little sponge shape. He was playing with a few of them in the bath (they were ocean creatures). I'm not sure if it's a new development in language or a new development in realization of self, but every once in awhile he's look up at me and say "Puppy she-shes" (this translates to "Puppy's fishies"... in other words "Mine!" LOL)

The one thing I do know for sure is that his fascination with fish continues and his sentences are getting more complex. "Dory, Nemo she-shes!" "Where she-shes go?"
