We saw Star Wars on Friday afternoon. I thought it was definitely the best of the first three but not anywhere near as good as the original trilogy. If they'd condensed the first 2 into 30 minutes and tacked them onto the beginning of this one, that's all I really needed as a prequel. I would have been thrilled with that and we would have all been spared the disappointment of the first 2. I think if we'd gone into this one with the expectation and hopes we went into Episode I with, we would have been more satisfied. There were problems with it, but I was mostly ok with them.

But for me, the best part was the preview for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Oh my god. I actually got a little teary eyed. I can't wait! Those were my favorite books when I was a kid. They were full of such magic and wonder.
