Another pregnant woman is missing. http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/07/27/Philadelphia.missing/index.html My question is why is she not receiving the same coverage as say, Laci Peterson? I'm sure it's because she's poor, not white, and unmarried. I think it's absurd that we decide who to care about based on stupid things like that. I'm also not sure why the nation is suddenly shocked when a pregnant woman disappears but doesn't even notice all the other people who disappear every year.
