This morning, Marc woke up at about 6:30 and called out for me. I went into his room and lay down in bed with him as I do every morning (though usually he doesn't make it to 6:30 before calling me). As I walked in the room, he greeted me with a "Hi, Mommy!". When I got in bed, he lay down next to me, snuggled up to me, and asked "You sing 'sunshine'?" ("You are my sunshine") So I sang it to me and when I finished, he said "You sing it again?" So I sang it to him a few more times and cuddled him and then he was ready to go downstairs and start the day. :) These are the things I want to keep to remember when he's 14 and wants nothing to do with me.
