Spicy baby

Alex is so funny. I'm so used to Marc hating anything spicy. If anything has a sharp flavor (even Dimetapp), he doesn't like it because it's "spicy".

A few months ago, I was eating nachos. I had jalapeno slices in a little cup and he was absolutely begging for one. So, I held one out and he opened his mouth and reached for it. I knew it would be an awful shock to just let him eat it, so I just brushed it across his tongue.

The look on his face was *hysterical*. (mean mommy! lol) He started clawing at his tongue with this horrified look on his face until I gave him a drink. Then... he asked for another one. lol

He's done much the same every time he's asked for something I was eating that's spicy, but always comes back for more. Last night, I was eating some shrimp pad thai which was fairly spicy. He starts reaching for my plate. "Noodloos! Noodloos!" So I give him a few. He puts one in his mouth and chews. Starts clawing at his tongue until I hold up his cup and he takes a drink. "Noodloos!" He puts another in his mouth. More clawing, followed by that adorable shriek/laugh and a huge grin. "More noodloos!" Every time, that shrieking laugh (and the clawing at his tongue).

What a funny boy. :)
