Both of the kids have been very impressed by Michael Phelps. I'm sure part of it is my influence - swimming is my favorite event in the Summer Olympics. But they've been very interested in watching with me. Marc now knows the difference between butterfly, breaststroke, backstroke, etc.

Yesterday, I was out with Marc and he saw an Olympic supporter sign in the window at McDonalds. He pointed it out and recognized Michael Phelps on it. Last night, Alex recognized him on an LA Times ad on a newspaper dispenser. Both of them say they want to be like him when they grow up, but both are afraid of putting their heads underwater. LOL We're working on it. ;)
