I know I've said it before but I'm so so tired of buying shoes for the kids! Alex doesn't seem to go through his shoes as fast as Marc, but he can be convinced to like boring, good quality shoes more easily than Marc. Alex has Chucks which have been standing up to boy abuse fairly well, but Marc likes the cheap Target shoes that have characters on them. I swear, we just bought his shoes a month ago and they already look like we're neglecting him.

And if the amount of ground in dirt I wash off his knees every day he wears shorts is any indication, this winter of wearing jeans we're going to be buying new pants even more often than we were last year. We just bought him new pants yesterday and I want to put patches on the knees just as a preventative measure!
