For those of you without young children, you might not know that they currently have "Disney Princess" toys in McDonald's Happy Meals (along with "Power Rangers" for those who aren't partial to the Disney Princess). We don't watch the Power Rangers at all, so naturally Joey wanted the Princess stuff. (Any of you who saw Joey at Christmas know that he likes it!)

Anyway, the most recent toy is a magic wand (from the Cinderella story). Jessie and Joey were really excited to get it. What is quite funny is that Joey keeps complaining that his magic wand doesn't work.

The other night we were driving and Jessie was looking out her window at the moon. Joey couldn't see it from his angle. He waved his magic wand emphatically. But he still couldn't see the moon.... "Mommy this doesn't work!"

He was trying to get a toy down from a shelf he couldn't reach. While looking earnestly at the toy, he waved his magic wand... "Mommy this doesn't work!"

Don't you love the innocence of a 3 year old mind!
