thanksgiving

Had our thanksgiving on sunday. Three bicultural marriage friends with their little ones, as well as Naoto's American coworker came over.

It was a little hectic, but very nice. Mia (and the other kids) didn't really eat turkey or stuffing, they just chowed on brie and crackers and onigiris.

I was in heaven because there were 2 pumpkin pies (one made with japanese kabocha in a yuzu/graham cracker crust, and the other one made by me with libby canned pumpkin in a wheat germ crust, yum)

We also had champagne and icewine. Yum yum.

Maika can now sit for about a minute at a time before falling over.

Mia falls over all the time whether sitting or standing.
