Cute Maika talking thing

So Maika really likes to "talk", which means she tries to put sentences together with words that almost, but not quite, sound like real words.

Mia likes to get in the act by telling her words to try and say. Recently it's gone something like this: 'batchi' (dirty in japanese) and maika will say 'batchi', then 'mama' and maika will say 'mama'. Then 'flower' (i don't know why, but that's the word mia chose) and maika will say something like 'fow-a'.

Then mia will say her own name, 'mia' and maika always, 100 times out of 100 will say 'nana'. Where does nana come from? i don't know. if you tell maika to say 'mimi' (ear in japanese) she will say 'mimi', so it's not like she doesn't know how to say the sound. Everytime we try to get her to say Mia's name, she says 'nana.'

Even when N gets in on the action, maika will always say 'nana.'

I wonder what she's trying to say? Is this practice for later when she plays a trick on mia and says 'nah nah nah nah'?
