Translator Bio

So the Japanese Chthulu mythos anthology "Hidden Gods" volume 3 (Straight to Darkness) that I translated a story for is coming out. I got the galley proofs last week and am looking over them.

Translating Chthulu mythos from Japanese is a b*tch. No, really it is.

Anyway, thanks to Kurodahan Press for giving me my first translator gig.

And here's the bio for me:

K. Bird Lincoln Translator (A Keepsake of the Grandfather)

K. Bird Lincoln’s Asia-inuenced short stories have been published in Strange Horizons, Flytrap, and Ideomancer, although this is her first foray into translation. She received her BA in Japan Studies, and after four years in the Tokyo area, finally convinced her husband that the rain in the Pacific Northwest isn’t that bad. She now resides in Portlandand has access to good espresso. For more information, see her web site:

Wow, it makes me sound like a real writer or something.
