Slue Foot Sue and Pecos Bill

I took girl2 and friend to the free production of Slue Foot Sue and Pecos Bill at Schiffler Park here in Beaverton.

Beaverton is so awesome. Free play, a giant water sprinkler, and (not free) hot dogs and italian ice all on a beautiful summer's day?

What more could you ask for? So allright, the production was very amateur, but it was silly and cute and the actors looked like they were having a great time.

And it was free.

Girl2 and friend enjoyed it very much. And as I was sitting there, baking in the sun, I thought, as my friend Kristi often says (although she usually says it when we're picking blueberries at Blueberry Hill or Tayberries at West Union Gardens) "this is paradise."

Beaverton rocks.

There are more performances, this time at the library in July and August. I totally recommend it for young children of all ages.
