Close enough... :)
I won't get my belt until tomorrow, but close enough! :) Welcome to my purple journal, in celebration of my attaining purple belt. :)
This is a big milestone for me, since from a ranking perspective, this is half way to black belt. There are three beginner, three intermediate, and three advanced belts, then black. Purple is the middle of the intermediates. :)
It's also a really cool milestone, because I get to learn offensive joint techniques now! Previously, all of the joint locking/manipulation techniques I learned were for defense. :)
Anyway.. babbling now.. but happy. :)

I just went back and proofread this entry, and realized that I ended every single paragraph with a smiley. :)
