For awhile now, I've been trying to teach myself this new Java technology called Struts, and several different parts of it were escaping me. It's been pretty frustrating, and a little stressful. I need to learn this technology for work, so unless I do it quickly, I have the feeling that my job security goes away. Logically, I don't believe that is true, but emotions aren't logical.

I was unable to subscribe to the mailing lists to ask questions and was beginning to give up. Jenn suggested maybe there was a newsgroup, and sure enough! I was even able to get some questions answered and made the conceptual break-through that I needed! woo!

Sometimes just a little encouragement in a relationship is all you need. :)
