We were sitting at lunch talking about lots of random stuff, when in the course of the conversation I said, "and his name shall carry death eternal for all those who oppose his righteousness." This sparked a conversation about how I'm able to quote the craziest shit at great length.

A figurative light bulb appeared above Irene's head and she asked, "Ok, I have a random question. Does 'SVM' mean anything to you?"

I thought for a moment. Nothing came to mind and I asked, "No, what is the context?"

She replied, "It keeps showing up in our ads on this certain page and I don't know why. All I know about the context is that it has something to do with dragons."

I thought for a moment and then it popped in my head. I said, "Oh yeah! That's 'Somatic Verbal Material.' It stands for the three different types of spell components in Dungeons and Dragons. Somatic are the hand gestures involved in the spell, the verbal is the words you speak and the material is things like dried ox horn or unicorn hair or stuff like that."

Everyone went silent at the table. They all looked just a little bit scared. Each one quickly finished their food and headed back to work.
