Productivity

I am trying to do something productive each day and I try to get it done before playing WoW.

My brakes made a horrible sound on Saturday so Monday morning I drove over the dealer and dropped it off for fixin'. They said a shuttle would arrive in 15 minutes and it would take me home.... suddenly though, I thought, "Psh, it's not that far." So, I stood up and walked the 3ish miles home. w00t!

This morning I dug my roller blades out of the garage and skated down to the dealership and picked up my car ($1200! ouch!) More exercise, w00t! The real goal for today though was my passport. As I mentioned in my last entry, I'm going to Mexico later this year to see two friends get married and I need a new passport because I changed my name. I haven't been able to find it though! It wasn't in my document safe, etc, and I was beginning to think I had really lost it.

Losing a passport in addition to changing the name makes everything harder. I scoured my house looking for it but came up short. 2 days of looking and I found it about 1 foot from the very first place I looked. >.< The rest of the day has been filled with passport paperwork and such. My photo printer was out of ink so that required a trip to the store. The store was out of ink and sent me to a different store. Blah!

I finally got my pictures appropriately sized, paperwork filled out, etc, and went to the Post Office... only to find out that the instructions on the website are out of date. *sigh* So, I didn't get the passport done today as I had hoped, but I'll have it done tomorrow morning.

w00t!
