I can't wait to get out of this heat!

We've been experiencing hundred-degree days for the past week or so. The early part of the week was humid to boot. And get this: we had rain most of the day on Tuesday, but it didn't hit the ground.

In fact, as I drove home (wasn't feeling well after the weekend to try biking), a number of raindrops hit the car windshield, but there was dust blowing around on the road. We had a rainstorm, but the air was so hot and dry that the water evaporated before it touched the ground. That was strange.

I hate being outside when it's so hot, and I hate being forced to use the A/C in the house (or sit there dripping sweat without it).

Time for a change to a more temperate zone: time for England!
