Seems to me it would be cool if someone would make a little do-hickey that let you tie in remotely to your car's internal computer system, so you could tell it to warm itself up on a cold Ithaca night, put a choker on its speed when your daughter was learning to drive, and tell you exactly where it's gone if someone decides to nick it.

What's that? Someone does? Nice: AutoPage's C3 RS-1000 OLED.

We sold our small holdings of Lo-Jack today. Although we have one of those thiings in our new car, it's police-activated only. LoJack does cost more initially, but this new device's annual service fee would quickly surpass that cost. However, there's so much more you can do with the new one compared to LoJack that we'll take our $125 profit now while we still can.
