Our friend Howard loaned us a small tiller so that we could re-use the former owners' garden plot. Shelley's mom went over it once, and then did again today, after spreading some of the horse manure from the shed-barn over it.

After that we put in asparagus sprouts for future years, and various seedlings and seeds for this year, including pumpkins, cucumbers (two kinds), tomatoes (two kinds), melons, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage, dill, coriander, beans, peas, lettuce, and green peppers.

Should make for some good eats in a couple of months.

And Kelley helped!
