Despite what your agent says, your timing is off. You were born too late, or maybe too early. You’re thirty years old, older than the Beatles ever were. You were born the year they split up, and by the time you learned to talk the spirit of the sixties had passed completely. “Liquid Sunshine” was transformed into “Sunshine Saturday Mornings on NBC”, and instead of learning the lyrics to “Give Peace a Chance” you grew up knowing that your bologna had a first and last name.
