Let's play the Sacramento-to-Idaho trip in reverse, but add some modifications. Between Twin Falls and the Nevada border, there were several funnel clouds off to the southwest. I was happy to avoid them. Put headphones on, listened to Tool, and napped briefly. Once in Reno, we could pick up the Sacramento sports station and listen to the Lakers/Kings game 7. Made it to my sister's house by halftime. Kings lose the decisive game, but no family mass suicide occurs. No dream about Chris Webber this time.

Good to be back in California. The part of Idaho that I saw was pleasant, but rather smelled of cow poop. When it rains, Idaho smells like damp cow poop. Despite the cowbells at Kings games, there aren't many cows around Sacramento. Rice paddies, yes. But no smell of cow poop.
