A few months ago, I checked the Arizona Cardinals schedule to see when my beloved 49ers were coming to town. December 21 was the answer. Then I checked the Phoenix Suns schedule to see when the Sacramento Kings were coming to town. One of the dates was December 21. So, I got this idea in my head that it would be really cool to go to both, one right after the other. I pitched the idea to Greg, and wonderful man that he is, he bought tickets to both as an early birthday present for me.

Now I'm tired, but still giddy. It was a glorious day.
