Today was Super Bowl Sunday, the end of football season. (We all know that the Pro Bowl sucks.) I was hoping for a more competitive game, and certainly did not expect the Bucs to beat the Raiders by 27 points. I was cheering for the Raiders, especially Jerry Rice. I was glad to see him catch one final touchdown in the Super Bowl.

This was an odd football season, but I can consider it a success in that none of the teams I hate made the playoffs. The 49ers got knocked out in the second round, but really weren't playing well enough by the end of the regular season to deserve to go any farther.

Greg paid a little attention to the game. We had wings and chicken nachos. I feel that making snacks for Greg somehow compensates for all of the suffering he does during football season. Also, my family always made finger foods on Super Bowl Sunday. It should be a holiday - "National Finger Food Day" or something.

Now, the long wait begins until the next football season. Sigh.
