For the first time ever, Greg and I took a trip during my Spring Break. We ventured up to northern Arizona, staying in Flagstaff. I love Flagstaff, and we always have a great time there. This time we decided to finally get up to the Grand Canyon, and on the way back, we drove through Sedona. I'm posting a few images here, but no images can really do this scenery justice. If you've never been to northern Arizona, get there sometime. You won't regret it.

This is the eastern part of the Grand Canyon - visibility was over 200 miles, allowing us to see out into the Painted Desert in the distance. And we got to see snow!

And here is Greg, out on the edge of nothingness.

For a constrast, here is Oak Creek Canyon, just north of Sedona.

And, for completeness, the typical red rocks of Sedona:

All this, just a few hours north, and a couple thousand feet up, from Phoenix. So pretty. So restful. We had a great time.
