Greg is safely on the Oregon coast, hanging out with some of the other cool writer kids. I hope that they all have a wonderful time this weekend!

So, I was left with a decision: what should I do this weekend? Stay in muggy, overheated Phoenix? Nah... Go to Comic Con with many of the people I love? (Miss you all - Kirsten, Aaron, Brian, Amy, Robert, Scott!) After a lengthy debate with myself, I decided no: I'm trying to avoid Episode III spoilers, and I'm not feeling social enough to be around tens of thousands of my fellow geeks. I'll be back at Comic Con next year.

So, I've turned to my home away from home, and I'm typing this from lovely Flagstaff. Pine trees, cool monsoon rains, yummy food, good bookstores, places to hike... This should keep me busy til Greg comes home.
