Yay -- it's Friday. Thankfully.

It's been a long week for me, but even longer for Rice. He'll be done with his current project sometime today or tonight and then he's taking a bit of a break. Mostly this will involve working on putting his office together, doing some reading for the next job, and spending a bit of time making baby preparations. Oh, and gaming. He'll probably do a little bit of gaming and R and R.

It's just occurred to me. Even though this means a break for him, it doesn't necessarily mean one for me. Blast. Well, he may start doing the dishes again. That would be cool.

Lots done so far today, but still lots more to do, particularly in terms of weekend prep. For example, I have a baby shower tomorrow and I probably should go and dig up a gift...

Been trying to write, but either Avadore or the cat has been insisting on sitting on my lap all morning (sometimes at the same time), so I can't say I've made a lot of progress that way. I see my writing productivity, in general, decreasing significantly in the near future. S'okay, though. It won't be long before Avadore won't ever want me to touch him again because his friends will laugh.

And of course it's April Fool's day. Anyone got any good jokes/pranks/general mischievousness to share?
